how can i link to different categories out of a block

I use Coppermine with PostNuke and I want to make a block with links to different categories of Coppermine.

It is possible? (I hope so!)
And can I do this?

Yes it can be done and please feel free to make use of my code.
Once done I am happy to add it to the next distro.
