Removing User galleries
« on: July 15, 2005, 08:28:48 am »

I have noticed others who have coppermine, do not have the user galleries in their galleries. I tried to delete the user galleries but it does not let me do that. Is there a way of doing it as I really do not want the user galleries on there. Any help would be great. I also have the 1.4 gallery as I noticed it is set up the same way with more features.

just get rid of all existing user galleries, then go to "groups" and set "can have personal gallery" to "no" - this way, the category "user gallery" doesn't show up.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have the 1.4 version which I notice is set up basically the same. I did what you said and the user gallery still shows up.

1.4 is beta and goes unsupported.  Locking this thread now.
