to add a news ticker to your gallery?

I searched but couldn't find anything.

use anycontent.php - include your newsticker there. In coppermine's config, add "anycontent" to "the content of the mainpage". Refer to the docs for details. Another option is to add a "custom header" - search for this term, this will show that this has been asked and answered many times already. Most of the threads your search will find will have a similar answer in it to this one I'm just typing, but some will contain the actual instructions.
