is there a limit (or recomendation) as far as how many you should add at a time when using batch add?

when I try adding 100+ I always get a blank cannot find server page, but when I add a few at a time, it works fine, any suggestions?

Hard to suggest a number, as it depends on server setup, file size and image resolution. You'll have to experiment to find a save number of pics you can add in one go.
