Hi there,
Any recommendation for free web hosting for CPG? would anybody mind to teach me how to upload at the same time? i have no IT background, so are really familiar with IT terms or procedure to upload gallery...but i'm learning...please be my tutor.
Thanks in advance,

This is thre thread dedicated to paid webhosting. There is another sticky thread that deals with free webhosting that is (surprisingly) named Free web host supporting the Coppermine requirements and that resides within this very sub-board. Thanks for not cluttering boards in the future and for reading before posting blindly. We have little sympathy for laziness.

I apologize for the possible off-topic. Guys, could you tell me which web hosting company you are using at the moment? I have a problem because my current web hosting company hostrator.com is kicking me off. They say that our website is using too many server resources. But our website only gets 300 visitors per day..

Anyway, what would be your recommendations? Are you happy with your web hosting providers?

I am checking http://www.hosting24.com/ at the moment, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them and they say something like "1000GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will start running out of disk space we will simply add a new 1000GB drive so can continue uploading..".

What do you think about it? Any ideas and web hosting company name suggestions are much appreciated.

If you look at the footer on our hompage you will see who we use for hosting ;)

My sites are on US servers although my web host is in New Zealand!  http://www.kiwihosting.net.nz/
It truly is a flat world.

I installed ZenPhoto, CPG, and Gallery3 on my Windows 2003 server.
First impression favorite was ZenPhoto, but I found that it ran slow on IE8 - although it ran fine on Chrome and FireFox.
Gallery3 had some technical issues with the Windows server that I didn't have time for.

CPG was an easy install - ran perfectly and fast right out of the box - on a Windows server!
I've been with Kiwihosting.net.nz for perhaps five years. . .they don't overload shared servers either - websites have always run fast.
And never had a security issue with them. I'm a dedicated fan.

As for CPG, it is my gallery of choice.
The documentation is extensive - currently I'm customizing my theme and will have a link when it's ready.
As for the web host, http://www.kiwihosting.net.nz/ , I recommend them.  For a fact, I know one programmer in Amsterdam and one in Portugal that I highly respect that both use kiwihosting.net.nz

There are many krappy hosting companies and a few very good ones.
My 2 cents.
