Hi. I am sorry if this was answered in some other thread, but I just upgraded to 1.3 and I'm getting

Destination directory albums/userpics/10001/ is not writable by the script !
File: /home/pornbard/public_html/Gallery/db_input.php - Line: 242

when I try to upload pics.

However, I was getting this message even before I upgraded.

It always worked fine though.

Any suggestions please?

CHMOD albums/userpics/10001 to 777 or 755

When I tried doing that, it didn't let me.

It said:

550 10001: Operation not permitted
! Chmod failed. It may not be supported on remote host.

Does this mean only my webhost can do it?

You can mark this as SOLVED.

My webhost took care of it. They uninstalled the cript and reinstalled it. They found harmful and exploitable
scripts. They also suspended an account which hacks came in through so there shouldn't be any more issues.
