Old pictures
« on: July 01, 2005, 09:14:46 am »

Hello there. I am new to coppermine, and I am not all that smart when it comes to all the intricacies of the program, php, or very much of anything else for that matter. I know HTML, but other than that I am pretty dense.

So my my host installed the program for me. I tinkered with it and created a folder/Album that I couldn't seem to get rid of (I FTP the images to the server in the folder and used the "batch add files" feature). I had coppermine un-installed and re-installed, deleted the album folder, but the old images are some how still showing.

How is that possible, and how can I delete them?

Thanks.

when viewing the pics and being logged in as admin (in admin mode), there should be a button beneath the pic that says "delete". Use it.

The pictures don't show in the admin section. Only under the "batch add file". So I can't use the "delite" button, becaus therte isn't one under that tab. So now what?

Thank you.

I mean that is not coppermine problem, you need to go on your ftp. then in your gallery/albums and then delete folders that you dont need

I have done that already. I don't know how the photos are being loaded from. I don't know where they exist. I have deleted the folder in "albums" as well as completely uninstalling and reinstalling (basically restarting from scratch). Yet the old pictures remain. I figure they are being stored somewhere, but I can" figure out where.
