« on: June 23, 2005, 10:19:21 pm »

After a few weeks of use and no problems, I started getting this message and it has been reported to me by several people also using it.

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_f677d5f2.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/c/l/a/claussen/html/coppermine/upload.php on line 1193

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/php2w9MZW' to './albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_f677d5f2.jpg' in /home/content/c/l/a/claussen/html/coppermine/upload.php on line 1193

The following uploads encountered errors:
FILE UPLOADS:
File name/URL                                Error message
1.a2_1_b.jpg                                 Impossible to move

This has happened to everyone that has tried to use it in the past week.

Create a folder in your albums folder called edit
CHMOD it to 777 or 755
Update your gallery so you do not needlessly suffer as a result of old bugs.

there is an edit folder in albums.  I don't know what CHMOD is to change it and where do I look for an update?  This was just installed from GODADDY.COM's one click install list.

a few upgrading problems
« Reply #4 on: June 24, 2005, 05:51:06 pm »

I've looked in the Doc file of the newest version and can't find anything on upgrading.  Also, when i go to the properties of a file, it says "READ" WRITE" EXICUITE" user/owner etc.. not 777 or 755 ect.  I also don't know where the database is so I can "DUMP" it.  When I use myadmin it shows all my phpbb stuff, but no coppermine.

Last, After my post yesterday, I still can't fix the bug giving me this warning

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_0f20aa48.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/c/l/a/claussen/html/coppermine/upload.php on line 1193

You mean this entire section of the documentation?

that would be it, but what about the first line.  Says same thing I read somewhere else.  Backup (dump) your database.  I can't find the database.  Everything in my database is for phpbb

config.inc.php has your database information in it - look in there for your database name.
