Admin help
« on: June 08, 2005, 02:50:35 pm »

Hi, i'm not sure if this is the right place to put it in or not, sorry if it's not.

I uploaded and installed coppermine correctly two nights ago. When I went to "go to main page" after the installation was correct, I get this code:

Warning: main(lang/english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/blonde/public_html/coppermine/include/init.inc.php on line 360

Warning: main(lang/english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/blonde/public_html/coppermine/include/init.inc.php on line 360

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'lang/english.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/blonde/public_html/coppermine/include/init.inc.php on line 360

I'm not sure where i'm supposed to go to log in to create my photo gallery and edit the set up and things like that. Just general modifications and access to it and things. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I had no idea what was wrong with it and why i can't log in to the admin page.

please help.
thanks.

Verify you uploaded /lang/english.php.

http://www.minisculeblondeone.com/coppermine/index.php?

I click on the "go to the main page" link and get errors. Am I even at the right page for the admin console?

Sorry if this is a totally stupid question.

Unzip the package again, making sure to allow folders to be created. Once the package is unzipped there should be a number of folders, if you see all the files in the same folder then you haven't unzipped it properly.

I've got the coppermine folder and then all the folders i unzipped I put them in the coppermine folder but each there own sub folder? you know?

So it's like coppermine/albums/album.php or something like that. isn't it supposed to be like that?

It is sipposed to be like that. One of those subfolders is called 'lang' and has not been uploaded. Make sure you upload everything.
