Getting rid of User Galleries
« on: June 04, 2005, 04:04:44 pm »

Hi,

Just installed the product (1.3.3), very impressed, especially the XP support.

However, this is intended for my website, where I will be the only user. So ideally, I would like to be able to upload my photos to either:

The root, so they show up on the main page.

Or into a category, so I can group one or more albums together.

That's it!

However, when I upload via the XP wizard, it puts this into User Galleries/Pete/xxxx, which is far too complicated for my purposes.

Anyone know of a way to achieve what I am looking for?

Many thanks,
Pete

Read the documentation - batch add pics.

disallow users to have their own personal gallery on your coppermine page (in the groups panel). If you have no personal galleries at all, the "user gallery section" won't be displayed.
