hey can some one help me please becasue all the files that i had have gone missing i dont know why but i still have got ll the members on. i have tred to restor a back up but is not working dose any one know what to do have a look http://adiboy.co.uk/fun

Please explain exactly what is missing.  Have your pictures been deleted from your webserver?    Has your pictures table been deleted from your MySQL database?

well the images are still on the websiter. and i tryed to restore the database and it strill isen't working the  pictures table but be on the back up that i had i think the problem is some where else. but i dont know where.

Well, you don't have any albums. Make sure your albums table is present and correct.

it looks like i have got every thing on there becasue i had them and then i dont knwo what hapen to it.

If the data is missing from your _pictures and _albums tables, and you don't have access to a backup with all of your data, then you just have to start over: make your categories and albums, then batch add your pictures.

how could that have happen. ther must be some way to get it back i have got back up of my full website every thing should be on there. there has got to me some thing i can do wiht the back up that i have got?

If your host has a full backup of your MySQL database, they can restore it for you.  If you have a backup with all the data, restore it.  A website backup normally is just the files on your website, not the MySQL database.  Ask your host if they have any recent MySQL backups dated before you lost your data.

they kegobeer thank you very much for your help. webhoster did have an old back fup. it is  abut old but it will hve to do. now i know how to make the right back up of my databases.
