Query error
« on: May 29, 2005, 05:16:57 am »

Hello,

I have just installed postnuke and coppermine photogallery from the latest versions.  I also installed the pncpg (nice tool thank you).  The problem that I am having is that when I added this as a block I recieve an error string where the block should be on the page.  Everything in its standalone form works great from what I can tell.  The issue appears to be with how the query is being formed to pull the fetch the users (it's trying to get a table that doesn't exist).

www.wowdarkness.com - The error is this:  Query0 failed : Table 'wowdarkn_pnke1.cpg_users' doesn't exist

wowdarkn_pnke1 is my postnuke db and wowdarkn_copp1 is my coppermine db.  For some reason it is trying to associate the cpg_users table with the postnuke db.  ??

Here are my settings:

PostNuke Home (including trailing slash) : http://www.wowdarkness.com/

User table for Postnuke:  nuke_users

User table for Coppermine:  cpg_users (verified this through myphpadmin in the database - not cpg132)

Coppermine Database ::  wowdarkn_copp1

Postnuke Database:  wowdarkn_pkne1

This is pretty confusing to me -  maybe cause it's really late here....

Anyway, thank you all in advance for any help.

Within the block one has to define the prefix of the Coppermine tables, is that correct ?
What version of PostNuke are you using ?

Yes, that is correct.  I did define that the block use "cpg" as the prefix.  I think that this part is fine, however, the postnuke database is where the block is looking to pull users from the coppermine db table "cpg_users".  It should not be looking in the postnuke db unless I am mistaken...

Postnuke version:  PostNuke 0.750 Gold

Thank you for the quick reply!  :)

Also, when I created a new users on the postnuke site, it did not create this for the coppermine gallery because when i went to gallery it asked me to log in.   ???
