Preview Quality

Hi,
I'm using coppermine for for first time and am loving it so far but I seem to have a problem. I've uploaded a few images but the thumbnail preview quality seems to be really low and pixalated. Is there any way of fixing this?

Thanks.

Just a note:

this only seems to be on the first 5 files I uploaded, all the others are fine. I've tried deleting them and uploading the files again but the preview is still low quality.

Try rebuilding the thumbnails using admin tools.

Did you clear your cache after deleting the images?  If you have, then maybe the five images are low quality images - reducing poor quality/low resolution originals make poor quality/low resolution thumbnails.

Nibbler, I believe the originals/normal/thumbs were deleted and images uploaded again, so rebuilding the thumbs shouldn't make any difference, correct?  (Of course, I say shouldn't.)

Nibbler - no idea what that means. How do I rebuild the thumbnails?

Kegobeer -The images are the same quality as all of the rest and when the images are enlarged they look fine. It's just the thumbnails that look bad. I didn't do anything after deleting the images. I just deleted them and reuploaded them.

Clear your browser's cache - the old images are probably being used.

Sorry to open this up again but now I'm having the same problem but can't seem to fix it in the same way. Under the admin I altered the size of the album preview photos to make them bigger and now they've all gone blurry. I've tried deleting my cache, updating the pics under admin tools and refreshing but nothing. Also a friend told me they look blurry to her too. Any advice on what is causing this rather irriating problem?

That's to be expected. The same image is used for both the regular thumbnails and the album thumbnail. It just stretches the imag to fit the size you specify.

Ah... so they need to be the same size?
