How do I remove the "date added" info in last additions and the alt-tag ?

Hi, I hope this is the right sub-forum for my question.

I want to remove any visible evidence of the date an image was uploaded into the gallery.
This concerns

-the timestamp below the thumbnails in the "last additions" column on the index page
- and mainly the alt-tag info which is visible when you hover over a thumbnail with the cursor.
