Password protected gallery

Is there any way apart from the regular categories to have a password protected gallery which can be viewed only by members who receive the pass from the admin ?

So would that be just password protected within Coppermine or would the picture be protected if it was accessed direct from it's URL ?

Within the interface the album would be protected, if the link to the pic on the server is known then it can still be accessed directly. Coppermine can't do anything about that.
