probably this has been mentioned before but is there any way for the admin to search for users in the memberlist? Like a box where u enter a partial part of the username and to search if there any members contain the keyword ?

It's already in the next version, and I think there is a hack posted for 1.3

Nibbler or any other supporter would have to search, just as you could search. Better still: upgrade to cpg1.4.x

I want to upgrade, but i've modifying the script on many places. So iám afraid that my site is crashing.

the drawback of hacks. Use a diff viewer to find all your hacks, then back up your hacked files so you can safely go back if things go wrong. Then upgrade as suggested in the docs and finally (if everything works as expected) re-apply your hacks. If this is too much work, then stick with what you have. We will not backport features from cpg1.4.x to older versions.
