help on coppermine

I installed coppermine on my site and i uploaded some pics and then a day later i decided to delete it.......heres what i did
i went to my ftp and i tried to delete the whole folder that the coppemine was in.......so i do that and i delete all the stuff except the folder that the pictures were in because it wouldnt let me delete it.....so now im stuck with all that extra storage on my site with no clue how to delete it........in anyone knows how to delete the files i would appreciate the the help

Its most likely because of the directories created with the upload process, they get created as the webserver user rather than your ftp user.  Ask your host to chown them to your ftp user account, then you can delete them.
