Coppermine Pic Editor for Square Thumbnails

I know that the topic of getting square thumbnails has come up quite a bit.  One of the recomended solutions for square thumbs is using the pic editor.  It would be nice to have it locked down in a square, for you can get a true square instead of just eye-balling it.

If there is away, please forgive me and point me in the right direction.
