This is a very stupid question and I'm offering my disclaimer thereof

The manual says to CHMOD the folders albums and include. Are these folders included in the .zip, with appropriate files in them? Or do I need to create them?

I'm getting the following message while installing, which I gather is telling me there's a problem with my empty include folder that I created :/

It might be that you did not extract the zip file properly. Instead of just double-clicking it to open it, right-click and select extract. The files would then be in the correct directory structure.

depending on the zip app you use there's an option (usually a tick box) that says something like "preserve folder structure" or "use folder names". Make sure you have enabled it when extracting the archive.
