bridging for mambo
« on: April 25, 2005, 08:19:16 am »

I've had a look and see that Coppermine can be bridged to integrate with mambo.

I cannot see where or how this can be done.

Is some one can point me in the right direction here I will be eternally grateful (well not quite, but I will be very pleased)

thanks

the current stable version of coppermine (cpg1.3.3) doesn't come with a bridge file for mambo, only the devel version (cpg1.4.x) comes with a mambo bridge file. Please note that the devel version is in beta phase (which means: not recommended for production use and no support).

No. Software developers love to be asked this question over and over. A search would have told you the same. cpg1.4.x will be released when it's ready.

mambo bridges to smf which bridges to coppermine. Be careful with the smf bridging to mambo , the newer release can be installed through the mambo interface without  a lot of the work which still shows on their support board written by kindred.

there a bit of work ahead but it does work and looks stable to me.
