hi there,

i am experiencing something very weird wrt the User Registration for the first time. gallery has been running without glitches all this while.

i've receive many emails from users who're trying to sign up an account, but alot of them say they cannot do that as the system tells them that either their username or email address have been used already. when they send in their email addresses and intended username to me, i tried locating for an identical account in the users list, but the weird thing is there isn't such an account.

the other problem is for users who seem to be able to pass thru the problem mentioned above, they then get a "The registration confirmation email can't be send!" error.

what should i do? is there something i can fix in the "register.php" script? is it corrupted? or shd i try re-uploading that one file?

any advice is very much appreciated. THANKS ALOT GUYS!
