If I as the admin create  4 albums and open them up for upload by any registered member the member cannot delete the picture if afterwards. Is this normal? it is an inconvenience for me to have to delete all the pictures that need deleting by members.

i just want for categories or albums someting like landscape, portraits, nature and abstract. however I have 2k members and as I see it now  eachone will need their own album in order to delete files if they choose to do so. having said this, can the user albums be placed in categories the admin creats?

In this version they cannot do this, but in 1.4 it is an admin settable option.

User albums cannot be moved to the main cats without messing with the database, but once you do that, then the admin becomes the owner of the album, and you are back at square one.

Best if you can wait for 1.4
