Mysql server wipe
« on: April 18, 2005, 12:44:23 am »

Hi,
I'm new to coppermine as well as mysql and php. My box crashed a couple of days ago and I lost my apache, php and mysql installation. I do still have my coppermine folder and my pics etc cause they are on another drive.
Since then I have re-installed php, apache and mysql. However, I did not have the mysql database that coppermine uses backed up. Is there anyway to recreate the database from the coppermine install or will I just have to reinstall coppermine and start from scratch (ie. make all the albums again and put in the pics)??
If i do have to reinstall coppermine and start from scratch is there any way of porting my settings/albums and such from the old isntallation?

search for timer.php on the board, that will help in recreating your gallery.

Wont help you with any info you added as comments or anything, but will help you get the images back in.
