Query0 failed : Prefix for Coppermine tables
« on: April 16, 2005, 01:58:57 am »

I have Postnuke and Coppermine installed via Fantastico, and have installed pnCPG25.

I am able to access via menu, but have tried to setup a block using either the random or the scroller blocks.

I am getting the error on my screen Query0 failed : Table 'leefamil_pnke1.cpg_users' doesn't exist.

You should see it at www.leefamily.me.uk/web

I am unsure what to enter in the block configuration setup for - Prefix for Coppermine tables :

Is this where my problem lies? I am somewhat of a novice to all this so any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, that is the problem. When you installed Coppermine, you could set the prefix.
If you installed the last stable version, it most likley is cpg132.
Otherwise check your database and verify the names of the tables, everything before "_" is the prefix.

Good luck,

Thanks for the response.

Sorry to be a bit slow but how do I check the database?

Coppermine was installed via fantastico so I didnt get the opportunity of setting the prefix.

I have a "MySQL Account Maintenance" icon in my Control Panel, which lists a coppermine database and a postnuke database. Am I looking in the right place?

If so I can list the files in each database for you, although neither looks anything close to cpg132

Cheers,

David

Hi Cas,

Thanks for comming back to me.

Via "MySQL Account Maintenance" icon, it lists the following files as being in my coppermine database.

leefamil_copp1.cpg_albums
leefamil_copp1.cpg_banned
leefamil_copp1.cpg_categories
leefamil_copp1.cpg_comments
leefamil_copp1.cpg_config
leefamil_copp1.cpg_ecards
leefamil_copp1.cpg_exif
leefamil_copp1.cpg_filetypes
leefamil_copp1.cpg_pictures
leefamil_copp1.cpg_temp_data
leefamil_copp1.cpg_usergroups
leefamil_copp1.cpg_users
leefamil_copp1.cpg_votes

Cheers,

David.

Hi Cas,

I have changed the setting to "leefamil_copp1.cpg_users" which is the name of the most similar table in the list, and I am now getting the message

Query0 failed : SELECT command denied to user: 'leefamil_pnke1@localhost' for table 'cpg_users_users'

See www.leefamily.me.uk/web

It therefore appears to have found the table required, but not accepting the Command!

Am I going in the wrong direction?

Thanks in advance.

The prefix is 'cpg' but you should also tell pnCPG that the database is called 'leefamil_cop1'.
The latter is donewithin the admin potion of pnCPG itself.
I noticed your site is down, just hope it is not because of this.
