Is there any way to make public albums unviewable to unregisted users? whats the point of having members when unregisted can view the public albums , I want only registered to vie them thanx

Yes it is very simple. Please read the manual http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php. It tells you how to accomplish what you want.
