Im sure you seen this error before but i have searched the forums and my problem is different.
Unable to write config file 'include/config.inc.php'

right... I have uploaded via FTP to my server i used right click/properties to set access rights to 777 on the 2 folders and their contents I created a database with a user and password then i put all this info into the first install screen and hit LETS GO! button then i get this error returned. I have then checked the folder for the said file but it does not exist, however there is a file called config.inc.php.sample. I am new to this kind of work so I am sure I am just doing something very silly.. my server is windows based server.. PLEASE HELP! I really want to get this up and running I have a few friends who wish to discuss photography using this system, I have heard its a very good system so I would love to get it sorted ASAP.

windows doesn't have chmod, you need to set permissions in a different way. Check with your host, they may have some special interface to allow you to set permissions.

My server runs from Plesk 7.0 do you know this? I will e-mail them about setting permissions but they are a bit slow to respond.
