this error msg when uploading

I've merely worked with coppermine for ~10 hours, and after my last uploading, this occured.

Warning: filemtime(): Stat failed for ./albums/edit/. (errno=13 - Permission denied) in /home/chap/public_html/gallery/upload.php on line 440

Warning: unlink(./albums/edit/.): Permission denied in /home/chap/public_html/gallery/upload.php on line 453

CHMOD albums/edit to 777/755
