Hi!!

I think I'm doinig something wrong, because in my gallery it
didn't show the thumbnails for the first categorie!
What will I have to do to change it this way:

Category thumbnails can only be set if pics exist within the particular categroy, so you should be able to go to "categories" (admin menu), click the edit icon next to a category and use the "Category thumbnail" dropdown list to assign a thumbnail to the category.

GauGau, I have the same question - how can I select a picture to be used as a thumbnail for a category? I saw your answer, but I don't understand what you mean. I thought pics can ony be inside the albums, not inside categories. Now, what if I have a set of main categories that do not have any albums directly in them but only in the subcategories, can I still define a thumbnail? Example: I have a main category "America" and inside of it I have a sub-category "Cities". Inside Cities I have Aldums - NYC, Boston, etc. Can I still somehow set a thumbnail for "America" ?

You need to have albums with thumbnails in that category to set up a category thumbnail.

I've figured out how to select a category thumbnail when the category has no albums, but that came with another bug or so, thus, I have not implemented it.
