would upgrading break the bridge?
« on: March 20, 2005, 12:41:53 am »

Just a quick questoin - I have Coppermine 1.3.2 full integrated with Invision Power Board 2.0 @ http://www.travelninja.com - I'm definitely looking forward to the release of Coppermine 1.4 (since most of my users request password protected albums). What I was wondering was once it's released, and if I were to upgrade to 1.4 would it break the bridging done??

you would have to re-apply the bridging, but this is only a matter of 5 minutes and should be even easier than when you integrated cpg1.3.2 with your bbs, as cpg1.4.x will coming with a bridging wizard. You won't lose users, pics they uploaded or anything, it will be just temporarily be disabled for the few minutes that are needed to upgrade.
