Direct URL to File?

I tried searching for it, but the closest I found was this, and it is not quite.

Basically, I host a lot of non-image files in my gallery (Midi and Movie files), and I want to give my users a chance to simply right click and select save as, to download the files to their computers. Is it in any way possible to make for instance the URL in File Info a direct link to the file, or any other solution to this?
