CHMOD at godaddy

im having trouble changing chmod at godaddy im using  an ftp software and it says "500 'SITE CHMOD 755 include': command not understood"  what do i do cant continue install.php because of this, are people here using godaddy as well please help.

newbie at hosting here, if i change my hosting to linux hosting will i still be able to upload files from a windows system?, did you have the same problem with godaddy?

You will be able to upload files from Windows if you have linux hosting.

thanks ill update if my problem is solved im still pending change of os with godaddy, hopefully there is no charge!
