Problem with uploading 8 files at a time and sorting by date ascending

Hi.

My "Default sort order for files" is by "Date ascending".
I have set "Maximum/exact number of file upload boxes" to 8.
The problem is that the files are being aploaded to the server in reverse order - first goes the one from the 8-th field, then 7-th, etc., etc., the last one is the one from the first upload field.
Can it be changed so that the first field is uploaded first, then second, etc.?
