Validation Confirmation E-mail
« on: February 27, 2005, 02:29:49 pm »

Sorry about the confusing subject name, it's hard to explain!

Basically using the forums I changed the validation e-mail so it gets sent to the admin.  This means that the admin has to validate on the user's behalf.  The only problem with this is that the user that has just registered has no way of knowing when their account has been validated, except revisiting the site until they gain access.

Would it be possible to add a code so upon validation, an e-mail is sent to the registered user confirming that their account is now active??

Thanks to everyone reading this for their time,

Yours sincerely,

David Eeles

This admin activation hack includes sending notification to the user upon activation:
