ImageMagick 'Convert' Program
« on: February 22, 2005, 11:03:30 pm »

So, where exactly is the ImageMagick 'convert' program located? It asks for it when you're installing coppermine, but I have no idea where it is. I downloaded the latest version (6.2.0). Any help is greatly appreciated.

You would need to ask your webhost for that information.

I've already downloaded Coppermine and ImageMagick, and when I open http://mydomain.co.uk/gallery/install.php it asks me to find the directory of my ImageMagick 'convert' program. Where is this?

You don't download imagemagick to your own pc, it has to be installed on the server. You have to ask your host where/if they have it installed. If your server has GD installed then you can leave the box blank.

read the whole FAQ page I just posted the link. This is being discussed there. We don't specialize in webserver setup support - the minimum requirements of coppermine are: a working php-enabled webserver that is properly set up with ImageMagick or GD and that has mySQL. All those items are pre-requisites.
