Please help with SQL error
« on: February 18, 2005, 02:10:48 pm »

Hi, I really dont know anything about SQL DB, as the other admin of my site did all that but is on a vacation for 6 weeks.
I have access(cpanel and phpMyAdmin) to install a database (and I did) but I keep getting an error saying  Access denied for my username @ localhost

If anyone could reply and help.. or speak to me on msn (exmk@hotmail.com).

Thanks in advanced,
Justin.

Ok I got it but now it has

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user: 'mkforces_gallery @server1.onwebusa.net' (Using password: YES)

I did a test that I saw on another thread:
Connected successfully
Can't use mkforces_gallery: Access denied for user: 'mkforces_gallery@localhost' to database 'mkforces_gallery'

the thing is that it shouldnt be ''mkforces_gallery @server1.onwebusa.net' because in the test its @localhost that will only connect

I dont know why its not working, I put everything right and got in contact with the other admin and he said it was right too.

any help would be great  :D :\'(

edit include/config.inc.php with a plain text editor and make sure it contains valid mySQL connection data. If you think everything is correct, contact your webhost for support.
