No, I mean upload ALL files from the 1.3.1 download.  Many have changed.

Casper wants you to download a new coppermine version that has been released yesterday and replace all files on your server with the new version. Then run update.php in your browser, try again and report if this fixes things for you.
You can download cpg1.3.1 by clicking on this link: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/cpg1.3.1.zip?download

Hi all, in my coppermine 1.3.0 work fine. I config all user to one group only and this work fine for me.

When i have one user in more than 1 group, for example

Group                                  Size Permited
Registers                                 500 kb
Vip Users                                1000 kb

and the user "coolhead", for example is in both groups, but the principal group is "Register", he can upload more than this limit.
I supuose, this user has 500kb + 1000kb = 1500kb upload limit.

Try this pls, for me work.

(Sorry, my english is not good. If you need a Dictionary of Desencryption, send me a email  :-[)

Thanks Bruno

My user is only in ONE group ... the Registered group ...
so, I believe this is not the root cause

I remember there has been a bug in previous versions where uploads to public galleries haven't been taken into account for the quota, but I thought this bug was fixed long time ago. I'm not sure why this happens to you, especially since others are unable to replicate.

"Invites" = Visitors = no UL
"ASC" is the team = no limit

The quota was the default one = 1024k
I just increased it to 1536k -> no change, every member can UL the amount he wants to.

Yes, please post one. Also, please upload at least one of the standard themes coppermine comes with so we can test wether this is related to your custom theme.

no need to set the language to english, I can manually switch to english as long as the english language file exists your server by adding ?lang=english to the url (like this http://pierre07d.free.fr/ASC/galerieASC/?lang=english). The same thing applies to the theme. It's safe to set your config back to french and your custom theme, as long as you leave the additional theme files on your server as well, like this http://pierre07d.free.fr/ASC/galerieASC/?lang=english&theme=water_drop
Uploading worked as expected, not sure what the problem is. As you require admin approval I can't tell you more...

Hello,

Thanks for your help.
Please try again, uploading 3 or 4 bigger pics and you'll see you can easily go beyond your quota of disk space that's set to 1536kb right now.
Uploading works as expected, even better than expected since the limit of disk space per member is of no use (on some galleries).
I can validate your ULs or disable admin approval.

Hope to see you again. Thx.

Not sure what to recommend. Please make sure you have the most recent files (use the version check tool versioncheck.php to verify).

Hello,

Thanks for the big pics! Your quota was 1536kb and you sent up 3172kb (without any alert, I suppose).
It's really a strange behavior.
versioncheck told me that I have the most recent files, except install.php that was deleted, versioncheck itself 1.1/1.4 and french language 1.10/1.13
If you have any idea to try even if you're not sure please don't hesitate.

Thank you,
Pierre

although the versioncheck.php might say that your files are pretty up to date, there are newer files in the stable branch of the cvs. There have been various smaller fixes after the release of cpg1.3.2, and I'm not sure if this will fix things for you, but I suggest you get a cvs tool like tortoise and do an anonymous checkout of the stable branch of the cvs and replace all files on your server with the most recent ones from the cvs. Then run update.php once and check if the problem persists.

Hello,

I'm going to check the stable branch of cvs and replace files if necessary. Sorry I can't use tortoise for I'm a Mac user.

Thanks for your help,
Pierre
