No Thumbnail when batch adding files - error when uploading
« on: February 10, 2005, 05:42:06 pm »

:-\\ I don't get it... maybe you can help.  I have had no problems with CPG until when I tried to add a few more photos.  I FTP'd my photos to the appropriate folders within my albums, and then went to the admin side to "batch add" my new files.  The new file is listed in the table when batch adding, but I get a dead image as a thumbnail of the new photo.  Clicking on the dead image (non existent thumbnail??) will bring up the photo, but when I select the appropriate gallery to put it in, I get a dead image as to the status of the creation of the image (you know, the next page that says if the addition was successful)

Since that wasn't working, I went to upload the file.... it says that the upload was successful, and clicking on next will bring you to the area to add descriptions of the files... dead thumbnail there.  I click on "continue" and I get the following error:

Quote
Warning: chmod(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10242 is not allowed to access albums/userpics/10001/Taco_Stand1.jpg owned by uid 48 in /home/httpd/vhosts/imova.com/httpdocs/gallery/upload.php on line 2229

The information box reads "The previous file could not be placed.
You have successfully placed all the files."

I tried changing my chmods to 777, and still no luck.  I tried looking for the solution here, but I can't see anything.  If you can help me, that would be great!!

My album is at:  http://www.imova.com/gallery/

Thanks for your help. ;)
