changing write permissions
« on: January 22, 2005, 02:10:22 am »

Sorry im new here and have tried to find the answer to my problem on the support board but could not find it.  I have sucussfully added coppermind to my hosting package. I am able to upload images on an indivual basis using the upload, However when i do the batch upload it says that i need to change the propeties to 755 or 777.  When i go to album on my ftp and right click it does not bring me to the context menu.  Therefore i cannot click on the word properties to change the write permissions.  is there another way for me to change the write properties.  Please \help

All FTP programs have a way to change permissions for files/directories.  You have to read the help files for your FTP program to figure out how to do it.
