forcing box down

I have added some text in my home page but need to force the existing box (above the category list) down. How do I do this please.

many apologies, I have solved that with a simpl piece of html code and going over the syntax again and again to find where errors were. Embarrassing. I did it late last night and couldn't delete my post. After days of trying to work it out I did, but thanks for getting back.
