Main Page Category Link without Images
« on: January 11, 2005, 06:16:15 pm »

I tried to search the forums but the questions doesn't seem to fall into an easy spot.

I would like to display a link to a particular category on the front page, but not the images within the albums within that category.  Is this possible?  And only on certain categories, not all.  I'd like some categories to display images.  Seems like this would be a configurable setting when editing a category, but I didn't see that.

I know I can change how many categories deep to display on the main page... and this kinda works, however, I have one category where I don't want sub-categories to show as links.  I want that one to only go 1 deep, but then another category to go 2 deep.

Thanks.

Categories can only contain sub-categories or albums, but not files. Albums can hold files, but not sub-albums.
Changing the way categories are being displayed (making them behave differently depending on the cat) is not possible without changing the core code.
What you're requesting is not possible at all.
