Easy solution to fix?
« on: January 06, 2005, 02:01:04 am »

I had the coppermine gallery installed on my site, was easily set up and ran fine until my site was hacked and files lost.  I try to re-install coppermine gallery, have all my needed info by get this error problem

"Table 'cpg132_albums' already exists"

Now this seems like a pretty plain response, but I cannot work out who to get around this.

Any answers??

Pick a different prefix, you already have a gallery installed that uses cpg132_ - the one with all your old data.

You might want to try using your current database information if only the files were lost. You would just need to edit include/config.inc.php to have your database login information.

But if the photos were lost, too, you would need to start with a fresh db installation.

Glad to hear things work now. Please back up your files to avoid losing everything due to unforeseen events.
