Hi, I was able to upload files before, but no larger then 512 kb. It really bothered me because I have a 160 gb hard drive which is empty, and I want my users to fill it up. Not I can't upload at all! Please help thx.

Increasing maximum file sizes is easy.  It's explained in the documentation.

Sorry, but that link wasn't helpful. And now its not even max file size, I can't upload at all.

There's a whole board dedicated to helping solve upload issues. I've moved your post to it.

Please read the stickies in this forum and read the faq which covers a few upload issues. 9 times out of 10 the stickies and faq solve most folks problems.

If after you have read and checked the things the stickies and faq update this thread.

Also it sounds like you have two problems. One pre-existing with the 512k limit, which Kegobeer pointed you in the right direction, but you have a more immediate problem that you can't upload at all. Those are most definately different issues.  Fix the can't upload problem first, then follow Kegobeers advice and work on the upload limit issue; second.

I am guessing that my 8 mb were filled. But from what I read I did not understand were that can be changed. I looked in Config, when in admin mode and couldn't find it there.

"memory_limit - This setting has a default of 8MB."

It says in PHP's configuration, but how do I access it?

I am not familiar with this, what file should I edit and stuff, help greatly appriciated.
