Uploading pics from windows
« on: December 29, 2004, 09:59:40 pm »

Hi,

I have got two little questions about uploading/adding pictures to the gallery.

1. Is it possible to upload pictures directly from a windows-folder into the gallery (as in gallery:-\\

2. Is it possible that cpm resizes the pictures automatically after uploading them. (so I don't have to do that with a program like fireworks  ;) )

greetings,

stephan

1) yes, there are three upload methods: via http upload, via ftp-upload and batch-add, and finally using the xp_publisher feature.
2) yes, it does, although resizing on the client is recomennded to avoid waste of webspace usage
3) we have a "one question per thread" policy, you agreed to respect it when you signed up for your account on this forum.
4) This is all being covered in the documentation that comes with coppermine and is available online as well (by clicking on "documentation" at the top of this page), did you read it?
