Are there more than 3 pictures in the album where you started the slideshow?

Are all items in the album JPG?

Can you view the pics in the album normally?

2. Where do I find the album JPG?  Is it a directory?
3. Yes, you can use the navigation to scroll through al the pictures

It seems your customized theme and/or using it in a frames environment is causing the problem.  I opened up your gallery in a new tab and switched to the classic theme (like this: index.php?theme=classic) and the slideshow works as advertised.

Try switching to the classic theme in your config settings and try the slideshow again.

You are right.  I'll go back and work on my theme.  It was a variation of black window.  I want to remove all the voting stuff and limit the gallery to just viewing.  Thanks for your help.

to disable voting you don't have to edit the theme files, you just disable rating in the groups section of the admin menu and that's it.
