How to enable category changing?
« on: December 23, 2004, 09:24:55 am »

Hello everybody!

In my Coppermine ( http://www.scubafoto.it/cop/index.php ) I can't change category in album properties because it's disabled:

how can I enable it?
i didn't find the answer neither searching here nor in docs.

Tnak you, bye, Marco

*waking up and only had 2 coffee so far*

It says User Gallery. Iirc you can't move user galleries just like that.
You can move regular categories when your an admin but not user galleries.

*going to get more coffee, someone correct my anwer if not correct*

I'm the admin and user also.
I created a category 'test' and want to move my albums from main category to 'test' 'that's under user gallery... but I can't :-((

No, that's correct, you can't normally.  The only way is to go into the database, and change the category for the album there, which is not recommended.

If this is just a test album, why not just create it new, in the category you want, and then use the edit pics to move the pics into the new album.

the reason is I have 33 albums of photographers and wanted them to classifie in different categories...
if I can't it's not a problem, I'll leave them there.
ciao, thank you!! Marco
