Batch Upload but what after ?

Hi all

I just Batch Uploaded some images, but the images is still in the Batch folder ! can i delete them after i have uploaded the images to the users-gallery ? or do the images have to be in the Batch Uploaded folder...

The images stay in those folders. CPG does not move files. It only records information on the photos and their locations in the database.

they remain there, - the process also create a thumb_xxx.jpg and a normal_xxx.jpg file, - in that directory.

This is why it's a good idea to create a new folder for each 'category', - like persons, cars, private and so on, - and then you can put more files in each folder along the way, - Coppermine keep track of which images are allready in the database when you batch-add from a previously used folder.

This structure just makes it easy'er to find your way around if you need to look into the folders.
