Ideas for Integrating into wbblite
« on: November 18, 2004, 08:37:59 pm »

I want to integrate the Gallery into my wbblite Board. It's the same architecture than the wbb2 Boards, so I thought it would be possible to use the wbb2.1 bridge that comes with the script, but I get stuck when the scrupt tells me the cookie_prefix variable is not defined in woltlab21.inc.php. So I thought to just look in the options.inc.php of my wbblite and search if the guys at woltlab renamed the cookie prfix variable, but there isn't even set one. Also you cannot define the name of the cookie in either the ACP or the config files.
Then I used my web developer toolbar in Firefox to see all the cookies set by my website, but there are at least 3 cookies set by the burning board and i don't know wich one I need to use in the cpg.
I'd appreciate any kinds of hints or solutions.

Thanks in advantage and greets from Germany

It doesn't seem to have a prefix, so leave it blank.

Ok I've found it on my own.
It's not that easy:
userid & userpassword cookie have the prefix wbb_ but cookiehash hasn't got a prefix...

But thanks anyway

EDIT:
I've got a new problem:
The Cookies are alright now but I get the very nonsaying message:
Quote
Fatal error :
There was an error while processing a database query

But i can't define where this error happens. I even tried to get the mysql_error message, but no way...

enable debug mode in coppermine config to see what query actually fails.

thanks for the debug mode tip.
Next problem is the useronlinegroupid column wich is not available in wbblite database.
I've not got a wbb2 so I can't check what this column is for.
I'll now try to instead change the column from useronlinegroupid to groupid
I'll update this posting when I tried

*UPDATE*:
Now the gallery shows up properly, but I can't login or register.
When I try to login I'm redirected to the Forum's Start page.
But there I am already logged in and registered.
So please halp me where could there be a problem???

Although Joachim speaks and writes excellent English, he is German, so should be able to cope with your site.

site is down for me - address can't even be resolved. Probably a DNS issue.

I have the wbblite too and would like to integrate coppermine into it. Does anyone got the integration to work and can tell me how to do it?

OK,

I followed Mastacheata`s steps and additionally changed the sessionhash column to hash and now it works. I attach the woltlab21.inc so you can take a look at it and maybe add it to the next coppermine release if other users prove the functionality.

As I said the login integration works perfect but it seems that the e-card feature is broken now. I mean the e-card is being sent but the pictures aren`t displayed. After a look at the code I saw that the pictute URL`s are like 'http://www.myurl.de/images/stamp.gif' instead of 'http://www.myurl.de/coppermine/images/stamp.gif'. Where can this be fixed?

Make sure the config setting 'target address for see more pics....' is correct, and includes the full url, i.e.  http://www.myurl.de/coppermine/

Ah, thanks, I altered this setting to http://www.myurl.de because my website will be running in a frameset and I dind`t want the visitors to miss the navigation if they go directly to the coppermine gallery.

I understand that it works for you, but I'd like someone else to confirm before adding the bridge file to the coppermine release, as I can't test it myself.
