See album preview under a subcategory...
« on: November 18, 2004, 12:29:06 pm »

Hi (again) !

This is a bit tricky to explain, so... let's do it step by step :
1- I create a category.
2- I create a subcategory (under the category created above).
3- I create an album on this subcategory.
=> Once all that is done, on the main page, I can only see the name of the categories but NOT a preview of the album created.

How come I don't see the album preview the same way as I can see it if the album has been created right under a main category ?

Why is that ? Is this something I missed on the configuration part ?

Thanx (again) !!

Coppermine can only display albums in the first level categoey on the main page, plus albums in no categoery.

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

And no chance it can change ?
I mean, not that I am a PHP developper or anything, but I don't think it must be *that* hard...
Is it ?
Anyway, thanx for your answer

give it a try - look into index.php and functions.inc.php - if you can make heads or tails of it and come up with a quick hack, you're welcome. I'm not sure what the function you're requesting should be good for except to clutter your index page...
If you have absolutely no idea about coding then you should not post statements like
but I don't think it must be *that* hard...
at all.
