Could not create a mySQL connection...
« on: October 31, 2004, 06:06:20 am »

in the installation page it shows this

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user: 'uew@localhost' (Using password: YES)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The installer can not find the 'C:/ImageMagick/' directory you have specified for ImageMagick or it does not have permission to access it. Check that your typing is correct and that you have access to the specified directory.
-------------------------------------------------

My fields are these:
MySQL Host localhost
MySQL Database Name    uew
MySQL Username    uew
MySQL Password   *****

Whats wrong  ???

Are you sure you actually have ImageMagick set up properly? Use GD on the install page during setup (even if you don't have it) and switch to ImageMagick later (if you actually have it), from the dropdown in the coppermine config page.
Is there any particular reason you want to start an outdated cpg1.2.x gallery instead of the most recent stable version cpg1.3.2, or did you just post on the wrong board?
