I need Help
« on: October 21, 2004, 11:03:28 am »

Hi
I spend the test yours Script (gallery) script to me to like.
But there is one problem, on my site will be about 50 categories
and more, as it is possible to make that the categories were
displayed vertically but in some columns, instead of in one,
as in one column it is not convenient. And whether it is possible
to use yours script in commercial the purposes if he will approach me?
Whether it is possible to store (keep) all photo in one folder?
Whether it is possible at once to load more than 10 photos?

Hi sergylt,

Please in future, only 1 question per thread.

1.  Categories displayed in columns.  This has been asked before, but I don't think it is possible withoutmany code changes.

2.  Coppermine can be used for commercial websites.  All we ask is the copyright code and 'powered by' link are left intact.

3.  You can store all photos in 1 folder if you want, but this will make administration and upkeep of the site very cumbersome.  However, the pics uploaded by html will be in the 'userpics' folder, and any you upload by ftp MUST NOT be in that folder.

4.  The admin should upload by ftp, and can upload as many as he wants this way.  Users can upload more than 10 if they have windows XP, and use the xp_publish facility.
